Discovery Education Offline: An App for Accessing Educational Resources in Egypt
Discovery Education Offline is an Android app developed by Discovery Education International in partnership with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB). It is a free app that allows teachers, students, and parents in Egypt to access a wide range of educational resources offline. The app provides access to thousands of videos, activities, images, articles, and other resources in both Arabic and English.
One of the app's key features is Curriculum Connect, which provides resources aligned with the national curriculum to enrich and support lessons in Primary, Preparatory, and Secondary grades. Another feature is WebEdTV, which offers three hours of daily Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM) programs to inspire children and take them beyond the curriculum. Additionally, the app has a search function that provides access to the full library of over 20,000 resources.
It is important to note that these resources are only available within Egypt.
